This is a 65 slide PowerPoint slide show for Remembrance Day / Armistice Day / Poppy Day. It has been designed to be used for the two minutes silence. There are two versions included. One begins with the Last Post and ends with the Reveille. It has been set to play automatically. The other contains images set to automatically play. It ends with the Last Post.This is an ideal resource to help pupils reflect on the centenary of Armistice Day and the ending of World War I.

This is a research paper-based quiz on a variety of literature and genres -books, poems and authors. It is an ideal resource for Book Day. Although pupils may be able to answer some of the questions, the quiz has been designed to encourage pupils to research the answers. It could be used in a variety of ways - in class, for competition purposes and/or for homework. It could be undertaken individually or as part of a group.

Why Passover is celebrated and how it got its name – the ten plagues, the exodus of the Israelites from Egyptian captivity across the Red Sea led by Moses.
